Flyboarding

It's a bird!🐥
It's a fish!🐟
It's a superhero???👀🙌✨

...

No, it's a flyboarder!🙈😂

.................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Yeah I know, that was super cheesy right? 😓 Haha. 😅

Anywaysss 😕 . . .

What exactly is a flyboarder you may ask? Well...

Well FYI, it isss actually a combination of a bird, fish and superhero...ok fineee, not exactly, but you'll see why I said that.😋

It's someone who participates in an activity known as flyboarding. This is a water-related activity that allows you to fly (like a bird), as well as dive and swim into a water (like a dolphin🐬), with the ability to propel back into the air, (like a superhero) ! Now do you get it? Well I think it'll be better if I show you. Have a look at this awesome video below, showing you the amazing flyboarding experiences. Would you give it a try? I would! Especially after seeing how cool😎those people look doing it. 😄
This is a really cool activity for all the water-lovers to try and it can even be experienced right here in Trinidad! Did you know that?😁Yup! Liquid Adrenaline Water Sports of T&T's Facebook Page highlights the granting of this awesome opportunity. Here's a picture of someone flyboarding in Trinidad. That can be you! What are you waiting for?! You have to try this before summer 2k17 is over. I know I will! Let me know what you think about this activity in the comment section below.

Visit the Safari Eco Park !

If you're from Trinidad or visiting Trinidad soon, be sure to check out the new Safari Eco Park 🌳🌲🐪🐵🐫in Chagaramas! I visited there two weeks ago and it was just great! I got to be up close and personal with the animals, pet them, feed them and even take pictures with them. 😁 It was the first time that I got to see Zebras, Camels as well as a Tiger Cat in real life. One of the Camels stole our feeding cup and we had to literally keep jumping to reach his mouth to get it back. He really put up a fight, but thankfully we were able to retrieve it.
However, my favourite experience of them all, was getting to meet Jack, the Kangaroo!😄Well...I'm not sure if his name is really Jack but I named him that. 😋😌He was very playful and it was also the first time that I saw a kangaroo in real life. Additionally, the horses🐎were just beautiful and there was also a pony amongst them 😃. My second favourite experience was talking to the llama. He's probably the coolest llama you'll ever meet. At one point, he was engaging in a staring competition with my friend. He (the llama)won, of course.😂I'm also convinced that he understands english...his reactions were hilarious!😄Then there was this frisky little monkey 🐒who kept running up and down the cage while we were trying to take a picture of him, lol. We eventually got one. There was also a porcupine but sadly we woke him from his sleep so he didn't really appreciate our visit so much😕lol.
There were several other animals there but I'll let you take a visit and see them for yourself. Scroll down on the blog to check out my Instagram feed (on the right-hand side) to see the pictures I took of them, especially the monkey, pony and porcupine!

Also, visit the Safari Eco Park's facebook page by clicking on the words 'Safari Eco Park' in the beginning of this post to view some more pictures of the animals. In the mean time, I've included pictures of some of the animals from their Facebook page, in this post for you. 😊 Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below!

Camping 101

Camping 🌄is a fun outdoor activity that fuels adventure! It's great to go outside sometimes and embrace the beauty of nature. Where do you prefer to camp? In the woods or by a beach? Either one can work for me but if I had to choose, I'd choose a beach🌅or river side any day.

Whether you're camping in Trinidad, Tobago or any where around the world, you've got to be properly geared and prepared☝. Safety is first priority🚩. After that, the fun begins!!!😁 However, if you're camping in the States, look out for bears 🐻, raccoons or any other wild animals. If you're camping in Trinidad or Tobago...well...look out for rain flies and mosquitos, lol. Walk with your inspect repellent! If you have to hike to get to your camp site, pack light! If you're carrying a pet, ensure that you pack for them too! 😄 Be sure to inform the police 🚨at the nearest police stationof your camping duration! #SafetyFirst

Questions to ask yourself and/family members before going camping:

1) Do you know how to tie knots and make a camp fire?
2) What exactly do I pack?

Here's a list of tips to answer those questions to ensure that your camping experience is a good one! #HappyCamping ! ⛺😄👍

A wedding at North Deck

Last month I was fortunate to attend a lovely wedding👰👨at a beautiful venue. This venue was none other than North Deck! 🌸🌅🌳If you scroll down the blog to the right-hand side, under the Instagram feed section, you will see a few pictures of the view and wedding decor that I personally took while I was there. The view was absolutely breath taking and I could not resist reposting their video on this post, because you NEED to see what I'm referring to. It really highlighted the beauty of our island and as you can see it is an ideal venue for a 'fairytale' wedding. It was overlooking the ocean 🌊and you can see the luscious trees and greenery🌲surrounding it. However, that's not all! There's a downstairs area with a kitchen and open space, that can be used for the cocktail party segment of the wedding/event and still has open sections for you to see outside.

I must say, that was truly a wonderful experience. I wish you could have seen the sun set with me that evening, it was spectacular. Everyone stared in awe at the wonderous view. I definitely recommend that you visit there soon and even book it for any type of event that you are having. Don't forget to have a look at the video below. Feel free to tell me what you think about it! Furthermore, if you are interested in seeing the opinions of others about the site you can feel free to visit my "Customer Reviews on some featured locations" page. 😊

Food for thought

Throughout my life I've heard a lot of people say "life is so hard" or "life sucks" and I've come to the conclusion that maybe they make those statements because they didn't receive proper advice on the realities of life and how to deal with them. No one said that life will be a bed of roses 🌹 but that doesn't mean that it can't be worthwhile or enjoyable 🎢. Sometimes we need to be reminded of the little things that can make a BIG difference in your journey towards blissful living.

We often get so caught up in focusing and dwelling on the negative side of the obstacles in our lives that we forget that we can use them as stepping-stones to reach our goals. As the famous saying goes:"When life gives you lemons🍋, make lemonade🍹!". It's simple as that. Let's try to be more adventurous in this thing called LIFE...we only have one shot🎯at it anyways. Try new things, appreciate the finer things in life, go outside, look at the trees🌳, listen to the birds🐤🐥chirp, pause for a while✋and breathe a little...😌

Here's a few simple tips on how to cope with life a little better. I hope you enjoy them! 👋😊

Wonderful Waterfalls

Waterfalls are one of the world's magnificent wonders. Judging from the votes, I'm guessing that you all agree with that statement since the majority of you have requested this post. 😊 As seen in the images above, there are diverse kinds of waterfalls all around the world. The images of the waterfalls alone are enough to persuade me to visit them! They're absolutely heavenly! It's a really difficult choice but if I have to choose, I'd probably choose to visit Snoqualmie Falls in Washington first, because that lovely pool to the bottom really captivated me. Which one would you choose? 😃

In Trinidad and Tobago we have several waterfalls as well and you will see some featured ones on the 'Fun in the Sun' page next month. I have been to some of those featured on the page, such as Argyle Falls in Tobago as well as Paria Waterfall, Edith Falls and Turure Falls in Trinidad and each experience was amazing in their own way. If you're from Trinidad and Tobago or even visiting, those waterfalls as well as the others featured should definitely be on your list of places to visit! Have you ever sat under a waterfall? I have and it was the best massage I've received in my entire life! 😄 The water in each fall was so cool and refreshing, I wanted to stay in it forever. Even the hike to the falls was tons of fun as my friends and I got to adore the beautiful flora and fauna that we have in our little island. I can't wait to visit the others! They're definitely on my list of activities to partake in this summer!
