Harry's Water Park

This post follows my 'Water Parks !!!' post. Here I will highlight one of Trinidad's very own popular water parks, known as Harry's Water Park.🌊 However, this water park is quite unique as compared to the other water parks in Trinidad. It is a water park that is filled with diverse activity segments. For example, in addition to the going on the water slides, you can also kayak,🚣take a ride on the different kinds of paddle boats, zip line, visit the mini zoo and nature trail, relax on a "floatie" and cruise down the 'lazy river' and more. There's also huts that you can rent as well. 🌴🌞

So adventure seekers and outdoor enthusiasts, here's an ideal place to visit this weekend!🏊

I've been here on numerous occassions and just writing this post is making me feel to go back now. A day at Harry's is a day well spent! Every time I visit with friends and family, my day at this place is always filled with fun and laughter. I've been on every slide that I was allowed to go on and I wish I could have gone on them more, but there was so much other activities to partake in, I had to use my time efficiently. I also enjoyed some curry duck and 'buss up shut' (paratha) from their food court. It was very tasty! 😌😋As seen in the slideshow below, they cater for all age groups. Just be sure to walk with the proper material for the water slides💦, since they take these safety measures seriously.

Don't just take my word for it, have a look at what others had to say about their time there as well by visiting my 'Customer Reviews on some featured locations' page! 😊

Visit the Emperor Valley Zoo and the Royal Botanical Gardens

In addition to the new Safari Eco Park in Trinidad that I have posted about further down in the blog, we also have the Emperor Valley Zoo🌲🌞🐒🐦🐢🐯, with the beautiful Botanical Gardens🌸🌳🌞right behind or next to it. These are definitely places for families and friends to visit, relax and have a good time. I personally recommend that you take a trip to these places before the summer is over. If you've been there already, why not go ahead? lol. You get a different experience every time.

The Emperor Valley Zoo has lots of animals that you can see that you may not have seen in real life before. For example, the giraffes, white bengal tigers and zebras. It's a great place to carry the kids. There's food and snacks including snow cone on sale as well, so you don't have to worry about the kids getting hungry. They'll enjoy the visit even more and are less likely to be grumpy lol.😄 Have a look at some of the animals below. Click on the 'Emperor Valley Zoo' words in blue above to visit there website and view more pictures.

Now I can briefly discuss the Royal Botanical Gardens. This is an ideal spot to have a day picnic with family and friends. Just walk with your picnic mat, a cooler with drinks and some tasty food and you'd be good to go! There's also huts or sheds for you to relax in as well, free of charge! It's a first come basis of course. The early bird gets the worm lol. The luscious trees allow the garden to be nice and breezy, and the flowers and plants just enhance the garden's beauty and even see the President's residence from inside the gardens! 😊Also, you can view more opinions other than mine if you like, by visiting my 'Customer Reviews on some feautured locations' page.

A day at La Vega Estate

The ideal venue for a day out with family and friends. Cool breeze🌀, trees🌳, lakes🌅, flowers, plants🌸, coconut sheds🌴, pools🏊...what more can you ask for? Oh, and there's a cabin too⛺! Get it all at La Vega Estate,🌞right here in Trinidad. I'm not the only one who holds this view, have a look at what others who have also been there had to say by visiting my 'Customer Reviews on some featured locations' page on the pages tab above.

If you're a plant lover,🌺you would definitely enjoy your visit to this nature and recreation park since it has an amazing garden center where you have the opportunity look at and also purchase different kinda of plants and flowers.
You can also fish as well as ride paddle boats🚣in the lakes. My favourite part of this estate is the pool sections🏊.I absolutely love them. The last time I went, my family and friends had to literally beg me to come out lol. 😆

Want to see for yourself? Choose a day this week you'd like to visit and go on down! 😄 Outdoor adventures are the best type of adventures. 😌👍 *P.S Click on the words 'La Vega Estate' in blue to be directed to their site to view any additional information you may need. Jet Ski in Tobago

My fellow adventurers, for those of you like me (and the dog above😆), who love water activities, I'm sure we can all agree that Jet Skiing🚤is definitely a euphoric experience. When you increase the jet ski speed and ride those waves, the adrenaline rush alone makes you feel to scream out out in excitement! 😄
Hopefully not like this guy though...😕lol.
But more like this...
So yeah, Jet skiing is tons of fun and if you're ever in Tobago and have not tried it yet, it'll be a great opportunity for you to do so there! They'll teach you how to do it and let you try it for yourself. 😁You'll get a chance to do so in the beautiful waters of Store Bay and Pigeon Point as seen in the images below. Doesn't it look cool? 😎 I'm supposed to be going to Tobago this month and I can't wait to jet ski again. 😃 What are your views on jet skiing? Have you ever done it before? Are you willing to try? Let me know in the comment section and 'reaction' options below! I'd love to hear from you. 😊

A Hike to Paria Waterfall

If you like hiking and you're looking for a challenge, a hike to Paria Waterfall💦is a hike for you! 👍

I classify myself as a "beginner", so it was definitely a challenge for me but it was definitely worth it. So for those of you who are fit, it won't be as challenging for you but it is still ranked as a moderately challenging hike.

One highlight of the hike besides reaching the actual waterfall, was stopping at Turtle Rock🌄, where we got to see the most beautiful view of the ocean and the surrounding flora and fauna. The slideshow below shows an image that illustrates where we got to stand on the rock to see such a view.

The second highlight was walking alongside Paria Bay🌅and witnessing the beauty of the land structure, as seen in the slideshow and we also saw a view baby turtles🐢swimming from the shore back into the sea. So despite the 'burn' that I felt at some points on the hike, the results were absolutely worth it. 👏😊

The waterfall was so refreshing and we had a great time in the water, in addition to receiving a great massage when we stood under it 💧. The pictures in the slideshow will speak for itself. I'll leave you to enjoy them and if you would like to see more, simply click on the words 'Paria Waterfall' in blue to the beginning of the post. 😁
